Hello! No heat or stability problems. Still working great! Power supply start keeping odd noise and sometimes if I shutdown dock and Mac mini it takes some time to get NWME alive again. I purchase new power supply and now it seems to work normally again.

I’m concerned about the heat generated by the NVMe’s but it sounds like that isn’t a problem if you have had no interruptions in the previous year. I find it curious so little information about this unit is available considering how many YouTube videos on other Mac mini hubs have been made. Perhaps it is just the cost.

I still using it and I have had zero problems so I still can recommend this product.
Note however that Trebleet has updated this product “the new dock to have 2 PCLe slots for two M.2 SSD instead of one PCLe and one 2.5 SATA”.

Yes, you need Windows if you want update firmware.
Latest firmware is already installed, if you purchase device and I think there is no updates very often.
